Changes coming soon to the Monthly Labor Review

As part of our continued effort to better serve our readership, the Monthly Labor Review (MLR) will be making some improvements to the availability, accessibility, and presentation of content this summer.

The MLR will begin publishing articles on a flow basis. This means that new articles will be available throughout the month, as opposed to only on the last business day of the month.

Finding past articles will become much easier with a revamped and expanded MLR archive. Readers will be able to search by title, author, or subject for articles back to 1981.

Last, but not least, the MLR website will be redesigned and updated to reflect that the MLR is an online publication. As such, MLR content will be available in full HTML format, though printable versions of material will still be available. We also hope to incorporate more interactive features into the article content, as it is warranted.

We have posted some prototypes of the MLR home page, a sample of an article, and a sample of one of the author pages.

If you would like to give us feedback, please leave a comment. We look forward to hearing from you.
