Michael D. Levi, Associate Commissioner for Publications and Special Studies

 

Michael D. Levi has served as Associate Commissioner for Publications and Special Studies at the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics since 2007. Mr. Levi directs the Bureau's print and online publications program, including clearance of content, editorial review, graphic design, and production. Mr. Levi also directs BLS media relations and central information services.

In 1992, Mr. Levi started the Bureau's use of the Internet for communicating with its customers. Prior to his current position, Mr. Levi served as the division chief responsible for the Bureau's online data dissemination and data-collection systems.

Mr. Levi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Comparative Literature from Dartmouth College and a Master's degree in Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
