Unemployment rate 1.5 percent in Ames, Iowa, and Charleston-North Charleston, South Carolina

In September 2019, Ames, Iowa, and Charleston-North Charleston, South Carolina, had the lowest unemployment rates among U.S. metropolitan areas, 1.5 percent each. Four other metropolitan areas in South Carolina and one other area in Iowa had unemployment rates below 2.0 percent. read more »
