patch 732-20210427

Are JOLTS estimates available by size class?

JOLTS has two experimental series of size class estimates, one based on firm size and one based on establishment size. Both series cover the total private sector and start with December 2000. The firm-based size class estimates were published for the first time in September 2017 and will be updated after receiving feedback from data users. The data and methodology can be obtained from the firm size class page. The establishment-based size class estimates have been produced since 2010 and are updated periodically, as resources permit. The methodology for these data can be obtained from the establishment size class page. To obtain the establishment size class data, please contact JOLTS by e-mail or call the information line at (202) 691-5870.
