Of the 27 percent of violent injuries, 14 percent were injury by other person—unintentional or intent unknown, 41 percent intentional injury by other person, and 45 percent self-inflicted injury—intentional. Percentages may not add up to 100 because of rounding and data exclusion of nonclassifiable responses.
