Professional and related occupations, business and financial operations occupations, and service occupations are all projected to grow faster than the 13-percent average for all occupations between 2004 and 2014.
Professional and related occupations, which is the largest occupational group, is projected to grow by 21.2 percent. The projected growth rate for business and financial operations occupations is 19.1 percent, and the expected rate for service occupations is 19.0 percent.
Production occupations and farming, fishing, and forestry occupations are projected to lose employment over the period.
