In 2013, workers with a disability were more likely to be employed in production, transportation, and material moving occupations than those with no disability (15.1 percent of workers with a disability, compared with 11.7 percent of workers with no disability).

Among workers with a disability, 9.9 percent of men and 4.4 percent of women were employed in production occupations; among persons with no disability, 7.8 percent of men and 3.3 percent of women were employed in production occupations. Jobs in transportation and material moving occupations were held by 11.3 percent of men and 3.2 percent of women with a disability. Among their counterparts with no disability, 9.6 percent of men and 1.9 percent of women were employed in these occupations.
Those with a disability were less likely than their counterparts to work in management, professional, and related occupations (32.6 percent compared with 38.2 percent). Among workers with a disability, 30.7 percent of men and 34.9 percent of women were employed in management, professional, and related occupations, compared with 35.0 percent of men and 41.8 percent of women with no disability.
