Idaho and Oregon had largest percentage increases in employment over the year ending August 2016

From August 2015 to August 2016, 35 states had statistically significant increases in nonfarm payroll employment. Oregon and Idaho had nonfarm employment gains of 3.3 percent, the largest in the nation. Florida followed closely with an increase in employment of 3.2 percent.

The 13 remaining states and the District of Columbia had employment changes from August 2015 to August 2016 that were not statistically significant.
