The largest over-the-year percentage gain in employment occurred in Sebring, Florida (+5.8 percent), followed by Lake Charles, Louisiana (+5.4 percent), and St. George, Utah (+5.2 percent). The largest over-the-year increases in the number of employed occurred in Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington, Texas (+104,600), Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Roswell, Georgia (+87,200), and New York-Newark-Jersey City, New York-New Jersey-Pennsylvania (+83,100).

The largest over-the-year percentage decrease in employment occurred in Casper, Wyoming (–6.1 percent), followed by Houma-Thibodaux, Louisiana (–4.9 percent), and Sioux City, Iowa-Nebraska-South Dakota (–2.9 percent). The largest over-the-year decrease in in the number of employed occurred in Milwaukee-Waukesha-West Allis, Wisconsin (–4,700), followed by Rochester, New York (–4,500), and Houma-Thibodaux, Louisiana (–4,400).
