Compensation costs for private industry workers increased 2.9 percent over the year ending June 2018

From June 2017 to June 2018, total compensation costs for private industry workers increased 2.9 percent. Over the same period, wages and salaries increased 2.9 percent and benefits costs increased 2.8 percent.
