From February 2018 to February 2019, the Producer Price Index for final demand increased 1.9 percent, not seasonally adjusted, after increasing 2.8 percent from February 2017 to February 2018.

The Producer Price Index for final demand less foods, energy, and trade services increased 2.3 percent for the year ending February 2019, following a 2.7-percent increase for the 12 months ending February 2018. The index for final demand goods increased 0.6 percent over the February 2018—February 2019 period, following a 3.1-percent increase over the February 2017—February 2018 period. Producer prices for final demand services increased 2.5 percent, after increasing 2.7 percent over the 12-month period from February 2017 to February 2018.
