In 2022, union members accounted for 14.2 percent of wage and salary workers in Minnesota, compared with 16.0 percent in 2021, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.
Prices in the Midwest Region, as measured by the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U), increased 0.5 percent in December.
Private industry employers reported 63,800 nonfatal workplace injuries and illnesses in Minnesota in 2021, resulting in an incidence rate of 3.3 cases per 100 full-time equivalent workers.
