In 2018, union members accounted for 12.6 percent of wage and salary workers in Ohio, compared with 12.5 percent in 2017, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.
Workers in the Youngstown, OH area had an average (mean) hourly wage of $20.22 in May 2018. Production workers averaged $19.54 an hour and accounted for 9.2% of local employment.
