Total compensation costs for private industry workers increased 5.5 percent in the Boston-Worcester-Providence, MA-RI-NH-CT, metropolitan area for the year ended December 2022.
Prices in the Boston area, as measured by the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U), increased 0.6 percent for the two months ending in November 2022.
Gasoline prices averaged $3.728 a gallon in the Boston-Cambridge-Newton area in October 2022, up 40.4 cents compared to October 2021.
