The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is the principal Federal agency responsible for measuring labor market activity, working conditions, and price changes in the economy. Its mission is to collect, analyze, and disseminate economic information to support public and private decision-making.
This conference will give the public the opportunity to speak with Bureau economists and learn more about the economic data the BLS produces. The sessions will provide an overview of uses and trends of several major economic indicators.
