2018 CPI Geographic Revision

In January 2018, BLS introduced a new geographic area sample for the Consumer Price Index (CPI). This sample was revised to reflect data from the most recent Decennial Census. As part of the revision, indexes for some areas were added, some were discontinued, and indexes for other areas were renamed. In addition, some areas formerly published semi-annually are now published bi-monthly.
