Total compensation costs for private industry workers increased 5.5 percent in the Boston-Worcester-Providence, MA-RI-NH-CT, metropolitan area for the year ended December 2022.
Employment rose 2.8 percent in Rhode Island’s largest county, Providence, from June 2021 to June 2022.
Gasoline prices averaged $3.728 a gallon in the Boston-Cambridge-Newton area in October 2022, up 40.4 cents compared to October 2021.
